5th Kind Core Mobile App 6.8.23 Release Notes

This build includes a config update addressing DRM url changes to ensure the continued playback of assets as well as some player performance improvements and minor general updates.

Asset Player has been optimized for better loading and playback performance

• Performance updates include reduced load time for streaming assets
• UI improvements were made to better highlight content while in fullscreen mode

MFA login page message updated for clarity

The following bugs were addressed

• FaceID setup request appearing with each user visit

  • FaceID will now behave as expected. Returning user will not be required to set up until time out period for FaceID is met.

• Users appear idle while viewing feature length films and are logged out during playback.

  • For users reviewing content on sites with shorter logout periods, the app will not log that user out until after the content is reviewed.
  • If the app recognizes the user as inactive, prior to being logged out, user will receive a logout warning and have the option to identify that they are still active.
