# Core 7.4.4 — Release Notes

This release delivers a comprehensive set of improvements across Search, Sharing, Comments, Tag Administration, UI behavior, session stability, and production organization. These updates enhance reliability, clarity, and day-to-day usability throughout Core.

## **Search & Browse UI**

- **Smoother scrolling and faster Search performance**  
  Asset thumbnails now render far more efficiently, delivering a noticeably smoother scrolling experience when browsing large result sets.

- **Fixed user access management in Search**  
  The grant-access workflow is now fully functional, making it easier and faster to add team members to content.

- **Cleaner filter layout in Browse**  
  Filter tags and UI elements no longer overlap, providing a more polished and readable browsing experience.

- **Fully visible faceted filter panel**  
  Filter controls no longer get cut off, improving usability.

- **Fully visible thumbnail details**  
  Asset details are no longer cut off, ensuring better at-a-glance insights during browsing.

- **Preserved List Mode selections when navigating between Search and Viewer**  
  Returning from the Asset Viewer now keeps your List Mode selections intact, improving workflow continuity.

- **Cleaner Browse UI without unnecessary tag icon**  
  Removing the unused tag icon declutters the interface and creates a more focused content experience.

- **Clearer page labeling with updated “File Search” title**  
  The renamed page improves clarity and helps new users navigate the system more intuitively.

## **Sharing, Access & Packages**

- **Fixed download options displayed in Share UI**  
  Users now see only permitted options for each asset type, reducing confusion and ensuring correct downloads every time.

- **Simpler sharing with removed View Limits**  
  Package sharing security is now more streamlined, removing unused security features.

- **Correct and reliable asset ordering in packages**  
  Asset order updates now save consistently, giving teams more control over curated content flows.

- **Accurate Sent-box Receiver filtering**  
  Receiver filters now show correct user types, helping users quickly target the right recipients.

- **Consistent visibility of View-As dropdown in Inbox**  
  The Admin dropdown feature now stays reliably accessible, enabling clear role-based viewing without interruption.

## **Comments, Discussions & Collaboration**

- **Accurate user counts in comment threads**  
  User totals corrected, now giving teams a better view of who’s included in discussions.

- **Improved user-adding experience in advanced comment mode**  
  Adding collaborators through advanced forms now works correctly, enabling smoother team engagement.

- **Clear prompts in Create Discussion modal**  
  The modal now displays the correct text prompts, ensuring users know exactly what to enter.

- **Cleaner formatting when pasting colored text**  
  Text formatting now behaves predictably on paste-in, resulting in more consistent message styling while maintaining intent of source formatting.

## **Media Player & Timecode**

- **Fixed support for frame-level precision in timecodes**  
  Timecode fields now accommodate frames, enabling more accurate media referencing for professional workflows.

## **Dark Mode / Light Mode & UI Styling**

- **Better readability of mentions and dropdowns in Dark Mode**  
  Enhanced contrast ensures mentions, menus, and dropdowns are easy to read in low-light environments.

- **Improved visual clarity "Please clear browser cache" message**  
  Styling updates make important text fully readable.

- **More readable multi-select lists in Light Mode**  
  Improved contrast makes Light Mode selection tools more intuitive and accessible.

## **Authentication, Sessions & User Workflow**

- **MFA capabilities enabled for users Added via Email**  
  The new user workflow now functions when MFA is enabled.

- **Fixed auto-logout timing**  
  Smarter last-active logic reduces unexpected logouts, especially across multiple tabs, as well as ensures users are properly logged out according to role settings.

- **Stable Audit Logins view with large session sets**  
  Audit pages now load smoothly even with extensive data, supporting better visibility and compliance reporting.

## **General Improvements**

- **Reliable display of thumbs up/down reactions**  
  Feedback icons now appear consistently, enhancing engagement and clarity in asset reactions.

- **Corrected usability in Production Admin**  
  Scrolling now works reliably, simplifying navigation and saving time when managing large sets of production tags.

- **Polished branding in Left Nav Menu**  
  The Core icon displays cleanly.
