Host real-time editorial reviews

Editors can switch between sharing the output of their edit session via SDI, (frame/ colour accurate output), and sharing their desktop via HDMI - allowing them to share their edit software, complete with timeline, bins/media libraries and source viewer for a collaborative editing experience. Flex works with ultra-low latency even with low bandwidth availability, so you get rock-solid performance and playback.

Perform real-time audio reviews with remote collaborators

Pivot offers 16 channels of uncompressed audio and a truly next-level review experience. Users don’t have to worry about downmixing, and nothing gets lost in translation. Composers, sound designers, sound editors and sound-effects artists can all use Pivot to stream frame-accurate footage to remote collaborators and execs in real time – creating a screening room-quality review, at the click of a button.

Host VFX shot reviews remotely & in real-time

For VFX review, you also have the added complication of having a greater number of stream viewers – as VFX artists are often working on one small piece of a larger puzzle in large, distributed teams. Flex can handle up to 40 viewers concurrently within a session and supports high-quality streaming content of up to 2K DCI resolution with up to 10-bit, 4:2:2 colour.

Where bandwidth is an issue ClearView Flex can be used for 'light' grading reviews - giving colourists a user-friendly tool to host frame and colour-accurate reviews with up to 40 viewers in up to 2K 10-bit 4:2:2 at very low bitrates across all consumer devices including laptop/desktops, iPads and Apple TV 4K.
